César Augusto Naranjo Leon started OrangeMico in early 2009 after spending several years working for Hedge Funds building mathematical and risk systems. He is currently focusing on mobile developer on Iphone and on Android, but also works on other software projects as well as business ventures. He was currently part of the winning team at NYU Stern’s Business School Entrepreneurs Challenge in Social Venture Category.

César studied Electrical and Computer Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh in 2003.

César is highly skilled with “lower level” languages (assembly to c++) but enjoys the pleasures which “higher level” (eg: python, perl, java) languages bring.

César resides permanently in Brooklyn, NY but aspires to live and work in different parts of Latin America for part of the year; this of course includes his home country of Colombia.

César enjoys playing Capoeira and riding his bike several times a week.
